Connect your coding agent
Add easyIndex to Codex, Claude Code, Gemini CLI or any MCP editor, then authorize it in the browser.
Your coding agent does the work in your repository. easyIndex never touches your code: it gives the agent one step at a time and checks the result itself.
One connection covers every website in your account. The exact command, with your address filled in, is under Coding agent at the bottom of the sidebar.
ChatGPT (Codex)
In your project folder:
codex mcp add easyindex --url https://easyindex.app/api/mcp codex mcp login easyindex
Claude (Claude Code)
In your project folder, then type /mcp, pick easyindex and choose Authenticate:
claude mcp add --transport http easyindex https://easyindex.app/api/mcp
Gemini (Gemini CLI)
In your project folder, then run /mcp auth easyindex:
gemini mcp add --transport http easyindex https://easyindex.app/api/mcp
Other editors
Cursor, VS Code or any agent that supports MCP: add the server address to its MCP settings, for example in .cursor/mcp.json.
{ "mcpServers": { "easyindex": { "url": "https://easyindex.app/api/mcp" } } }Authorize and start
The first time, the agent opens easyIndex in your browser. Log in and click Authorize.
Then ask it: “Use easyIndex to work on my website.” It finds or adds the website and asks easyIndex for the next step.
To cut every agent off, use Disconnect all agents in Settings. Each agent then has to authorize again.
